My last install of BSD died during thanksgiving vacation when the power went out. Spent a lot of time trying to rescue it with the help of Sitzmar but I eventually gave up. This is probably my 10th install of BSD, and I can never get it to live for more than just a few months (this is why I don’t have any pets.)
So now I do a full backup of my install by saving my VMware image to an external drive. Catastrophe would need to strike to ruin it this time.
